Dan Dicaire wins 2nd place in Student Paper Competition of the Alternative Energy Applications conference in Kuwait.

The oil rich Middle East may seem like an unlikely place to hold an alternative energy conference, but as experts project peak oil to be a few years away, Kuwait is thinking about diversifying its energy portfolio.  That is why the World Federation of Engineering Organizations Alternative Energy Applications Conference was hosted in Kuwait City from November 3rd to the 6th.

Prizes in Entrepreneurship and Innovation (PEI) competitions 2009–2010

All undergraduate and graduate students of the Faculty of Engineering are invited to consider participating to the Prizes in Entrepreneurship and Innovation (PEI) competitions in 2009–2010. This year again, six prizes (three projects in both graduate and undergraduate competitions) of a total value of $45,000 will be awarded to the student or student teams who have developed and presented the best business cases. Participating students will gain valuable business experience and expertise and will benefit from expert advice and mentoring.
